SURFIT Project Meeting in Maastricht – June 2024

In June 2024, the SURFIT consortium met in Maastricht for a three-day project meeting hosted with Gedeelde Welde, an organic shop and co-partner of the project.

Monday kicked off with introductions and an overview of each partner’s project stage, followed by a visit to a CSA field to talk with the farmer and CSA members. The day ended with a panel session with the project’s co-partners and dinner at Brandweerkazerne.

Tuesday focused on working sessions: WP2 (Literature Review and mapping of catalysers and barriers), WP3 (Stakeholder Map & Engagement Protocol), and the Food Lab implementation plan, with dinner shared with the DUT project (CDCUL-Eco-housing).

Wednesday covered WP4 (Data Management Plan), WP5 (Dissemination of Materials), and WP1 (evaluation and finalisation of action points).

Key topics discussed included the Stakeholder Engagement Plan, Urban Implementation Plan, Transdisciplinary Action Plan, Data Management Plan, and dissemination of materials.
